Satyendra Sarma Memorial Award :

This Memorial Award was instituted by the Centre in the year 1996 at the instance of Shri Jitendra Nath Sarma and Mrs. Mrinalini Sarma in memory of their eldest son Satyendra Sarma. The Centre presents this annual Award to the best Engineering Graduate of Gauhati University.

Gokul Chandra Goswami Memorial Award :

The Institution of Engineers (India), Assam State Centre presents this annual award in memory of Late Gokul Chandra Goswami to the best Electrical Engineering Graduate of Gauhati University every year.
